Decadent Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake

Here is a recipe for a decadent chocolate brownie cheesecake:

Ingredients:

For the brownie layer:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt

For the cheesecake layer:

  • 24 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. To make the brownie layer, in a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and eggs until well combined. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and stir until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
  4. To make the cheesecake layer, in a separate large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer in the pan, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Bake the cheesecake for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.
  7. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate it for at least 2 hours, or until chilled.
  8. Cut the cheesecake into squares and serve. Enjoy!
