Decadent Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake
Here is a recipe for a decadent chocolate brownie cheesecake:
Ingredients:
For the brownie layer:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp salt
For the cheesecake layer:
- 24 oz cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- To make the brownie layer, in a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and eggs until well combined. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly.
- To make the cheesecake layer, in a separate large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the sour cream and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer in the pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake the cheesecake for 45-50 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is still slightly jiggly.
- Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let it cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate it for at least 2 hours, or until chilled.
- Cut the cheesecake into squares and serve. Enjoy!
